What Past Summer Staff Say

Camp is an opportunity to serve so many different people—whether it was serving campers or serving other staff members or just serving the Lord, I had a great time and I can’t wait to go back.

Working in outdoor ministry, I made friends and memories that will last a lifetime.

All these friends you get to make from all over the place. Getting to meet all these people and get to know them, and getting to love Jesus with them and love these kids.

I was super nervous going into the summer because I only knew two people, but once I’d actually come to camp I was immediately experiencing God’s love through the Christ-centered community. It was just super encouraging and just filled with so much love and comfort.

You get to be a kid. You get to act like a kid and do what the campers are doing.

A safe place for me in the summer.

The fact that I have a space where I get to serve, but it’s also a job—it’s the best job in the world. I just get to hang out with the kids all day and talk about Jesus all day. Honestly, it’s the best job I’ve ever had because I haven’t had to try—I am just being myself, being who Christ created me to be. It was just an incredible position to have for a summer. It’s just so much fun.
